Rookies/Intermediate/Youth (U-14)
- Qualifications - Carnival FormatCompetitors are given a specified time to complete as many problems as possible. All Rookies/Intermediate/Youth (U-14), regardless of gender, climb together with their category peers. 15-20 problems are available for climbers to attempt. No demo climbs; climbers can attempt problems in any order. Scores are determined by the top 6 hardest problems completed by each climber. Top 8 female climbers and top 8 male climbers proceed to Finals.
- Finals - Rotation FormatEach gender attempts 3 problems in sequence.
When one climber moves to the next problem, the next climber will attempt the first problem, and so on.
Each climber has 4 minutes to attempt a problem and 4 minutes of rest.
No observation or demo climbs; all finalists are isolated before starting.
The top 3 climbers of each gender will be awarded prizes.
